The Anxious Perfectionist
She’s the worrier and the one who's thought of just about all ways a situation might go. She takes on a lot whether its school or those she cares about. With a tendency to fret, what is important to her and what she might surprisingly benefit from could be two different things. Your gift could support the Type-A persona she proudly boasts OR her reminder to enjoy what the day does bring.
The Colorful Commentator
Depending on the day she is channeling a trendy, cutting-edge fashion statement or finding a way to dress up the sweatshirt she wore five years ago. She is creative and she expresses herself through what she wears OR what she shares on her social media. Her Pinterest mimics the identity she outlines as her present and future. Retro? She’ll make it work. Bold and new accessory? She’s guaranteed to figure out a way to mix it into her wardrobe. The biggest take away for her during this stage in life is how she can continue being her most authentic self.
The Ultimate Miss Independent
She’s already got big ideas for what she can do in society and there’s a good chance what she says now will come to fruition because no obstacle is (or has ever been) able to stop her. Being task oriented is her forte and finding out ways to efficiently do a good job brings her pride. Multitasking is one of her favorite personality traits alongside sincerity in all she does.
The Memento Collector
This a stage in her life that is going to stick with her forever. It’s now that she is becoming the woman she was born to be. On her way there, she’s going to want to remember even the little moments that carved her path. She appreciates a deeper meaning behind even simple things. An item of sentiment may or may not bring her to actual tears, but it will definitely make her think of the individual who gave her that gift when she uses it.
The Instagram Savant
There’s always a girl (or two) whose free time consists of thinking of innovative ways to post or brainstorming caption ideas. This is important in a society destined to become immersed in e-commerce, while innovations are still being dreamed up with social media as a key connector. While she has to be cautious that she isn’t spending too much time patrolling her notifications, her “brand image” is important to her. She is either already being asked to post about a brand and its product, or she is working hard to get there. To get the right profile going, she’s going to need some fun props or accessories to use.
The Heroine Homebody
Just as the social butterfly likes to be out and about to enjoy herself, the “homebody” is going to feel most comfortable with her dog by her side and the security of home readily available. Anxiety may drive her choice to stay in, or it may be that life is crazy and her down time is spent best at home. Finding her home away from home may take some trial and error if college is involved, but it’s hard to leave once she finds it. If she has introverted tendencies, reminders of how she can spend her time at home but remain productive could be really valued!
You can take the girl out of her hometown, but that doesn't mean she'll forget what it meant to her. Keeping pieces of Arkansas always reminds me of the sweet memories there and the great people who've shaped my life. These rings are simple enough to stack for the day when she calls multiple states home.
I'm a born and raised Arkansas girl who found herself drawn to Oxford, MS three years ago. It's there that I discovered IMC in the Meek School of Journalism and New Media, which began my journey towards brand consulting and social media content drafting. With the support of my friends and family, I remain excited and positive about the opportunities still to come! In an ever-changing marketplace, I get the opportunity to enter the workforce when so many miraculous transitions in business and marketing are resulting. It is my goal/hope/aspiration that this page functions as a way for those who have not met me, or may not know me well, to get some insight into what I'm passionate about. A lifestyle blogs purpose, in general, is similar to why I want to work with branding to begin with. What can you see in a consumer? What can be found in a product in actuality and sentimentally? Who is your company's culture appealing to when all is said and done? These are questions that should bring inspiration. If it became my job to aid in finding that stimulus, what an amazing thing to be a part of!
